Terms of use

These terms describe how CommerCentr works and what everyone using the site agrees to. We tried to write them in plain language: if a clause is unclear, tell us — that is a reason to rewrite it, not your problem to solve.

Who operates the site

commercentr.com is operated by [TODO: legal entity name], registration number [TODO], address [TODO]. Contact for enquiries: support@commercentr.com.

What CommerCentr is

It is a marketplace of digital goods for online stores: modules, ready CMS builds and developer services. We are a venue where sellers offer their solutions to buyers. Some products we sell ourselves as a seller; in those cases your counterparty is the operator named above.

Your account

Buying requires an account. You are responsible for keeping access to it safe and for actions taken under your login. If you suspect your access has been compromised, change the password and tell us.

We may restrict an account used for fraud, for circumventing licence limits, or for bulk automated data collection. We tell you the reason.

airy — the internal unit of account

Settlement on the marketplace happens in airy. You top up a balance and then spend it on products and services. Every operation is written to a ledger that cannot be edited retroactively — that is a technical property of the system, not a promise.

airy is a unit of account inside the platform. It is not electronic money, a means of payment or an investment instrument, and it does not circulate outside this site.

What you get when you buy

  • A CMS build — a perpetual licence to use it. The code and data on your hosting are yours; we have no access to them and cannot switch them off.
  • A module (plugin) — a licence to use it within the limits stated on the product page, usually bound to a specific site.
  • A licence key — the right to activate under the seller's terms.
  • A subscription — access for as long as the subscription is active.

A licence does not give you the right to resell the product, present it as your own, or distribute it beyond the limits the seller set.

Pooled funding and group buying

In pooled funding, participants' money is held in escrow — reserved but not handed to the developer until the work is accepted. In a group buy, funds are likewise held until the campaign reaches its threshold. Refund details are in a separate document.

For sellers

A seller is responsible for their product: that it works as described, that they have the right to sell it, and for supporting buyers. We review products before publication, but that review does not make us the author or a guarantor.

Payouts are made net of the marketplace commission, whose rate is shown in the seller dashboard at the time of sale. Payouts require identity verification.

What you must not do

  • Sell someone else's work as your own, or infringe anyone's rights.
  • Circumvent licence limits or technical protection.
  • Load the service with automated requests beyond reasonable use.
  • Use the platform for anything the law prohibits.

Limits of our responsibility

We are responsible for the marketplace itself. We do not guarantee that a particular product will fit your specific task, that your store will run without incident on your hosting, or that external services (banks, carriers, fiscal operators) will be available. Read the product description and the seller's terms before buying.

Nothing here limits the rights the law gives you.

Changes

These terms may change — for example when new mechanics appear. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page. We announce material changes in your dashboard. If you disagree with a change you may stop using the service; that does not cancel perpetual licences you already bought.

Governing law and disputes

Ukrainian law applies to these terms. We try to resolve disputes by correspondence first — it is faster for both sides. Failing that, disputes are handled as the law provides. Your rights as a consumer are set out in Ukrainian consumer protection law; guidance is available from the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
