What will be built
What does not exist yet. Starter is not a shelf product but what we intend to build on top of Community. You are seeing this page because we opened a group buy: instead of spending a year building an edition blind, we take the money and the wishes up front and build what people actually need.
What it adds over Community
Community already gives you a working store: catalogue, storefront, basic SEO, structured data, one payment method and catalogue reading for AI agents. Starter adds six things on top:
- AI product descriptions — generate descriptions and meta tags inside the admin panel, 500 calls a month.
- Payment hub — several providers at once instead of one: the buyer picks how to pay.
- Email campaigns — mailings to your own list, without a third-party service and without exporting your contacts anywhere.
- Reviews — collecting and moderating product reviews, with structured data for search.
- Catalogue writes for AI agents — an agent can update products over MCP, not just read them.
- Dunning — automatic retries when a payment fails the first time.
Limits
- Products: 5,000 instead of 500 in Community.
- AI calls: 500 a month (Community has none at all).
- Developer MCP access: enabled.
What stays the same as Community
The main thing does not change: the build installs on your hosting, the code and database are yours, we have no access to them and cannot switch your store off. The licence is perpetual — this is a purchase, not a rental.
How it works as a campaign
The price depends on how many join: the more of us there are, the cheaper it gets for everyone, including those who came first. Funds sit in escrow rather than passing to us straight away.
Every participant can leave a development wish — what they specifically need from the edition. We do not promise to implement everything, but we read them all and start with what is asked for most. That is the point of taking money up front: whoever pays gets to specify.
Honestly about the risk
You are paying for something that does not exist yet, and that deserves to be said plainly. If the campaign does not reach its minimum number of participants, everyone is refunded in full and automatically, with nothing withheld. While it runs, your contribution is reserved, not spent. What you risk is waiting time, not money — details in the refund terms.
Campaign rules
- The price falls with every new participant. Everyone pays the same final price — including those who joined first.
- Funds are held in escrow and do not pass to the seller while the campaign runs.
- If the minimum is not reached, everyone is refunded in full, automatically.
- You may leave the campaign until 23 October 2026 — at 10:04 withdrawals are closed by the deadline.
- Once it ends the reduced price is gone: anyone buying later pays the base price.
