LiqPay — card payments
Card payments through LiqPay Checkout (API v3): on-site payment, response signature verification, encrypted keys. Pro adds refunds from the admin panel.
Description
The LiqPay payment module connects card payments to your store through LiqPay Checkout (API v3). The customer pays by card, the store receives confirmation and marks the order paid on its own.
What the free version does
- Card payment through the LiqPay Checkout page.
- Signature verification of the gateway's response — the store does not take "paid" on trust.
- The private key is encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and is never returned to the HTML — not even to an administrator in the settings form.
- No core changes: the gateway registers with the payment hub as a self-contained module, so enabling or disabling LiqPay touches nothing else.
What Pro adds
LiqPay Pro — refunds gives you full or partial refunds straight from the order in the admin panel: the money goes back to the customer and the order status updates itself, with no manual reconciliation against the LiqPay dashboard and no risk of forgetting to close the order.
Refunds are implemented to the gateway's official specification. Pro code is physically absent from the free build and is delivered as a signed archive after purchase.
Worth knowing
The module provides the technical integration. Acquiring rates, the contract and settlement timing are set by LiqPay, not by us — check those terms with the provider.
The second gateway is monobank, in the same payments section. They do not compete: enable both and let the customer choose. If you sell digital goods and accept bank transfers, you may not need a card gateway at all. The module ships inside the free build.
