Newsletter signup with a coupon

The email subscription module places a capture form on your homepage and sends each new subscriber an email carrying exactly one coupon, which you choose in the settings from your active coupons.

What the free version does

• A form block on the homepage, below the main content, with no template edits.
• A subscriber list with duplicate protection: signing up twice with the same address does not create a second record.
• Bot protection: a hidden honeypot field, rate limiting and CSRF verification. Three separate mechanisms, because none of them is reliable alone.
• Coupon selection in the settings — a dropdown of the store's active coupons.
• Coupon limits live in the store's standard coupon system: the module only sends the code, while validity and usage counts stay under the store's control.

What Pro adds

Subscribe Pro — segments and export: segmentation of the subscriber list and export to an external email service. That is the answer to the obvious limit of the base tier — a store is not an email marketing platform and does not pretend to be one.

Worth knowing

The module collects the list and issues a coupon. It does not send campaigns, run drip sequences or track opens — which is exactly why export to a specialist service exists. We would rather say that in the description than let you discover it after installing.
