Ukrposhta — delivery and branches

The Ukrposhta module for your online store adds branch selection to checkout, backed by the Address Classifier — the carrier's official address directory.

What it does

• A branch directory with selection at checkout.
• Lazy population: a city's branches are fetched the first time a customer needs that city, and are held locally from then on.
• Background refresh of already-loaded cities on a schedule.
• Credentials are encrypted.

Why the lazy model

This is a constraint of the source, not an architectural preference. Nova Poshta offers a bulk city export; Meest publishes a dump. The Ukrposhta classifier has no "give me every branch" method — only one city at a time. Lazy loading is therefore the only possible model here, and we say so plainly rather than dressing a limitation up as a feature.

What it does not do yet

Rate calculation and waybills are stage two. They live in a different Ukrposhta API under a separate contract, so this is not an evening's work.

What it costs

Nothing; there is no paid tier. The module ships inside the free Community build.
